The Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) is the only public comprehensive testing and certification organization in Korea, established in 1966 by the Korean government with the assistance of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to build the country's industrialization foundation.
It supports industrial transformation and growth by enhancing corporate quality competitiveness and supporting the acquisition of export certifications. Through business agreements with more than 160 testing and certification organizations in 55 countries around the world, it takes the lead in supporting Korean companies' overseas exports.
