A2X Games is an online game developer established in June of 2011. Its main game is an SRPG called "ELSAGA," which launched on Google Play in April of 2018. When we used cloud services from other companies, we were concerned about the customer response speed. So when we heard about NAVER Cloud Platform's quick customer service, we decided to take a leap of faith. They have all the solutions we could possibly need, and with the amazing user interface, we are able to focus more on developing.

Please introduce your company.
We, A2X Games, are a pure game developer. We’ve been developing mobile games for seven years.
We were founded in June of 2011. Our main game is the SRPG, “ELSAGA,” which was released on Google Play on April 25, 2018. "ELSAGA" is a game where characters have unique skills and heroes are reproduced with delicate illustrations and cute graphics. It’s an SRPG that can be played strategically based on character attributes, occupation, and turn. You can strengthen your community with real-time intrusion combat system with your friends, and you can ask your friends to 'help' you to reach a difficult dungeon to win the battle more easily. In addition to this, we provide various battle content, such as dungeons, event dungeons, event portals, guilds, PVP, etc. As such, we’re always looking for new ways to present fun experiences to users and develop them.
How and when did you start using the NAVER Cloud Platform?
In March of 2018, we began using the domestic one-store service.
It was in the first half of 2017 that I first discovered NAVER Cloud Platform. I thought about using NAVER Cloud Platform from the planning phase of the game. But it wasn’t until March of 2018 that I actually started to use it. The reason we considered NAVER Cloud Platform was due to our plans to launch services to Japan and Taiwan. Since NAVER Cloud Platform's global region covers all of our service areas and it’s a cloud platform hub is in Korea, we predicted quick customer responses, thus allowing us to immediately choose them.
What was your reason for choosing the NAVER Cloud Platform?
We were always concerned about the slow customer response speed of other companies.
We chose Naver Cloud Platform because of its reputation for rapid customer support. From the viewpoint of providers, the most worrying element is an unexpected incidents. But NAVER Cloud Platform demonstrated quick response times as soon as we made an inquiry, and that was the main reason for choosing it over other services. In the past, we used a few other overseas cloud services, but when I made relatively simple inquiries about linking payment information, it took them three days to answer a week to resolve the issue. Imagine what would have happened if it was actually an emergency regarding service stoppage. So after this experience, I realized that a fast customer response was essential. So we chose NAVER Cloud Platform without hesitation.
What were some of the improvements after using the NAVER Cloud Platform?
When we set up and operated the server, the UI was much more convenient than other cloud companies.
Thanks to that, we were able to focus more on game development. Business partner costs are incurred to alleviate any difficulties (such as customer support) when using an overseas cloud. But from a small and medium-sized businesses perspective, these costs are a burden. With NAVER Cloud Platform, even if you don’t have a partner, they’re quick to respond to inquiries and careful in many areas, so you feel like you have a partner. And they also have reliable services for infrastructure services as a fundamental part of their services. We can comfortably inquire about various problems during service operation.
Lastly, please give us a thought that would be helpful to people who are still deciding on whether to use the NAVER Cloud Platform.
NAVER Cloud Platform provides everything you need for game services.
It’s comparable to other cloud services, and their quick customer response is superb. Their stable environment and fast, accurate customer service outcompete other cloud services. You can use various additional products such as analysis, notification, security, as well as back-end related products (VM, CDN, IP, LB, Object Storage etc.) necessary for game services. There is nothing particularly lacking or unsatisfactory. It also provides a perfect environment for companies looking to expand their global game services. The “ELSAGA” game is also planning to enter the overseas market from June of this year. We plan to expand our services to Japan, Taiwan, The Philippines, and North America. We are going to utilize various global regions of NAVER Cloud Platform. As the service gets bigger, there will be a lot of questions to ask, but we are confident because we know that NAVER Cloud Platform will respond to them anytime and anywhere.
